    Drum circle

    Drum Therapy for Youth

    Express Yourself Through Rhythm

Drum therapy is a fun, hands-on way for young people to release energy, reduce stress, and build confidence.

Using rhythm and music, sessions create a safe, relaxed space for kids and teens to explore their emotions, improve focus, and express themselves freely — no musical experience needed!

    1:1 Drum Therapy Sessions

These sessions are a great way to help young people open up and express themselves in a creative, non-verbal way. Using djembe drums, we explore rhythm together — helping them find their beat, their voice, and their calm.Drum therapy can be part of a regular life coaching session or offered on its own.

1:1 drumming can help young people:

      • Feel more comfortable expressing emotions
      • Build confidence and self-esteem
      • Improve focus and mood
      • Learn tools for managing stress, anxiety, and frustration
      • Strengthen communication and trust in a safe space

    Group Drumming Circles

Drumming in a group brings people together — it’s fun, energising, and builds a real sense of connection.

As a trained DRUMBEAT facilitator, I offer group programs that use rhythm and teamwork to support emotional well-being, social skills, and resilience.

If your school or community group already has djembe drums and you’re looking for a facilitator to lead an inspiring and interactive session, I’d love to hear from you!

    Group drumming circles help participants:

      • Work together as a team
      • Improve communication and listening skills
      • Boost confidence and creativity
      • Strengthen social connections in a supportive, playful way

Drum therapy is about more than music — it’s about giving young people the tools to express themselves, connect with others, and feel good from the inside out.

    Testimonials

Linda has had a huge influence on my son’s success with starting high school this year. Having Linda being outside friends or family who he could share his feelings with as well as a safe space where he could learn ways to deal with his emotions, has been crucial. Linda is very patient and professional and most importantly, she was able to relate to my son and keep him turning up and completing set tasks. I highly recommend Linda’s coaching to all.
